Lemon Fire Strain

Unlike people, marijuana pretty much cannot control how their stories are told. Of course, it depends on the original breeder. Some choose to disclose everything about a strain while others keep it private. Regardless of the reasons, knowing and understanding more of where one came from does add to the experience.

Information about Lemon Fire:

Take for instance lemon and fire. Both are unrelated, and yet there is much to tell from its name alone. For example, lemon suggests that its fragrance is reminiscent of the fruit. Fire, on the other hand, tells us that it is very potent. A true fan of marijuana, though, knows there is more to a hybrid that just the name.

It is unclear who the breeder is, but the consensus is that it is a descendant of Fire OG (named for its fiery amber trichomes) and Lemon Kush (for its fragrance). Put the two together, and the result is a hybrid that exhibits the best traits of its predecessors.

Speaking of the best, Lemon Fire proved itself worthy of a prominent lineage by being named the Best Concentrate in the 2014 Washington Cannabis Cup.

Effects

Lemon Fire leans more towards the Indica side. Like typical hybrids, its effects begin with the cerebral high. Often, it induces a euphoric buzz in the head. It results in users feeling not only uplifted but also elated. On days when one could use a little dose of positivity, this strain can certainly lighten up the mood.

Apart from the change in perspective and behavior, Lemon Fire inspires users to have free-flowing thoughts and ideas. Rather than random thoughts popping in and out, users can lock into whatever it is they are doing.

While the mental stimulation and mood-enhancing effects sound all too great, the best is yet to come, though. One reason why people use Lemon Fire is to end the day in complete relaxation, and that is what it delivers once the physical effects creep into the body.

It does not take long, but under such comfortable feeling and cessation of activities, most people end up falling asleep.

Used a little too much, the effects of the strain can be quite intense. Unlike in moderation where the transition from mental to body high is seamless, it becomes more distinct in the sense that the physical effects can slam hard into the body and cause a couch-lock.

Fragrance

Users are in for a truly satisfying treat as Lemon Fire is all things refreshing. Imagine being in a tropical paradise, chasing sunsets. The natural herbal and earthy scent of nature are accompanied by an invigorating scent of citrus that is reminiscent of lemon. Upon breaking the buds, it emits a slightly spicy aroma that tingles the nose.

Flavors

As revitalizing as the fragrance may seem, the flavors of Lemon Fire are more pronounced. Thus, it pleases the users even more. Just like how it smells, this hybrid has a citrusy lemon flavor. During exhale, the tropical flavor of earth passes through the throat.

Adverse Reaction

As mentioned, the intensity of the mental and physical effects induced by Lemon Fire depends on how much of it was used. More so, the same happens when it comes to its adverse reactions.

The most common ones are dryness of mouth and eyes. Besides keeping it in moderation, it is also advisable to stay hydrated. Other than that, headache may occur due to overindulging.

Medical

Not much information is given when it comes to the pharmacological use of Lemon Fire. Nonetheless, it still has a THC level. Because of that, its intense psychoactive properties that induce the psychedelic experience are also the ones that provide comfort.

First up, this hybrid can deliver a cerebral high that induces happiness. Aside from that, it is capable of quickly altering the mood from foul to uplifted. As such, those who are suffering from mental conditions such as chronic stress and depression may seek aid from its use.

Lemon Fire, aside from relieving mental anguish, also has the ability to aid those who are in need of physical help. It eases the discomfort for those who are having trouble dealing with headaches and mild body pain. More so, its relaxing properties may help insomniacs get a good night sleep.

Growing

Just like with its medical benefits, there is insufficient information when it comes to growing Lemon Fire. Since it is Indica dominant, this strain may not be any different from other Indica hybrids. Most likely, it will grow up to, at most, 6 feet tall outdoors. It also has a quick flowering time and can produce a decent amount of buds.

Flowering Time

Indoors

Lemon Fire is most likely to have a flowering period of more or less 8 to 9 weeks. Once it is ready for harvest, the yield is expected to be around 10 to 12 ounces per square meter, perhaps even more.

Outdoors

Fortunate are the people who can cultivate marijuana in their outdoor garden or backyard. While it presents some challenges, it is also not as tedious as growing inside the house. Not to mention, it is also less costly. About the one thing that the plant needs is to be planted in a warm climate. Following good gardening practices, it should begin flowering in early October. Upon harvest, each plant is likely to produce no less than 12 ounces.
