What’s in a name? For sure, the name of this strain is not because it brings us to a vegetative kind of dream state. Rather, it was named after its parents, the Blue Dream and Dream Star. The result of this two-way cross is a 90% Sativa-dominant strain with THC levels that ranges from 22% to as high as 26%.

Effects

Unfortunately, we are not aware of seeds being available for Double Dream, hence it remains a clone-only strain. What we know is that it thrives well in a Mediterranean climate and it produces a high yield. Described as not that difficult to grow, it will require experience as it has to be taken care of, including topping, trimming, and as its branches grow wide with heavy buds, they would need to be supported. While it is resistant to mildew, it does need to be protected from pests.

Flowering Time

Indoors

Double Dream is a breeder’s favorite because of its quick flowering time of 7 to 8 weeks, and then it produces a large yield of around 26 ounces per square meter.

Outdoors

Ready for harvest during the last week of September, Double Dream is likely to have a yield of no less than 30 ounces per plant, possibly much more. Unfortunately, we do not have enough information at this time.
